Chinese ship launching project

In 2021, a Chinese shipyard purchased 45 8-layer ship launching airbags from Shandong Nanhai Airbag Engineering Co., Ltd. These airbags come in two specifications with dimensions of 1.5 meters in diameter and 18 meters in length, and 1.8 meters in diameter and 18 meters in length. Ship launching airbags are specialized equipment that play a vital role in shipbuilding and maintenance processes.

Ship launching airbags work by injecting gas into the interior of the airbag, creating an air chamber with buoyancy, which allows for the floating, launching, and hoisting operations of ships. They are widely used in various shipbuilding and maintenance projects, including large commercial vessels, passenger ships, oil tankers, aircraft carriers, and port facilities.
